The scarce catalogue for the Bechers’ first museum exhibition in the Netherlands; WorldCat records two examples in North America. Van Abbemuseum director Jan Leering (1934-2005) organized this show as part of the more experimental programming he launched in 1964. This catalogue contains numerous reproductions of the Bechers’s famous photographs, with essays by Leering and Wend Fischer (both in Dutch).
In near fine condition; minor wear to the extremities. Designed by Walter Nikkels (b. 1940).
