Postcard invitation sent by Jürgen Wesseler’s fabled gallery. The small gallery of just 33 square meters opened in 1967, and hosted important exhibitions of minimalist and conceptual artists until 1992. This was LeWitt’s only exhibition at the gallery. The text on the recto details “Wall Drawing (no. 261)” which LeWitt created for the show: “White Lines from the Center and Four Corners on Yellow Wall: 9 Lines from Each Corner & 9 From Center / 4 Above Center / 1 Toward Center / 4 Below Center.”
