One of 80 copies, a rare and early Hans-Peter Feldmann (1941-2023) photographic artist’s book. Feldmann has photographed 45 pairs of shoes, loafers, boots, etc., with nine images per page and printed on rectos only.
In near fine condition; faint sunning to the edges, internally fine. We locate just two copies in North America.

An unrecorded unique book by Feldmann (1941-2023), used as the maquette for the rare 1973 catalogue of his "Bilderheften" published by Forlaget Sommersko, and printed in an edition of 540 numbered copies. Greta Kühnast’s Feldmann catalogue lists many one-of-a-kind books, but this one was not known to her. In the present volume, the artist has laboriously excised illustrations and text from his earlier photobooks and adhered them.
