A very scarce book printed for documenta 6, with amusing portraits of artists (and their signatures) who presented works or performances at the exhibition in Kassel. The photographer Pfaffe has captured intimate photographs of Abramovic, Acconci, Beuys, Christo, Korot, Kounellis, Kubota, De Maria, Matta-Clark, Muntadas, Paik, Potts, B. & G. Schmidt-Heins, Serra, Vostell, etc. Facing each portrait is a reproduction of the artist’s signature, as well as their biographical information.
