A very rare auction catalogue of drawings from the choice collection of an unidentified seller. 71 lots, including pieces by J. Asselijn, Bega, Bril, J. van Goyen, Huet, F. & W. von Kobell, S. Le Clerc, Redouté (on vellum), D. Teniers, etc. Lots 54-71 consist of group lots. The earlier entries provide concise descriptions, notes on provenance, and measurements.
Very good copy; we locate no example in North America. With the ownership inscription of Marcel Nicolle (1871-1934), curator at the Louvre and critic, on the title-page, and stamp of the Bibliothèque Heim on verso of title.
