An uncommonly long and narrow woodblock, carved on both sides. The texts contain examples of elaborate classic prayers and devotions to be written on tōba 塔婆, wooden offertory strips placed at tombs in Japanese ceremonies. Tōba is a transliteration in Japanese of the Sanskrit word stupa.
