Scarce exhibition catalogue about a series of postcards — all reproduced herein — received by Dadaland (a.k.a. Bill Gaglione) from Beuys in the early ‘70s. From the introduction by Gaglione: “In 1972 I invited the German artist Joseph Beuys to send mail art to the Dadaland Post Card Show at the Mostly Flowers Gallery in San Francisco. This was the first mail art exhibition to show the works of Beuys. Twenty years later at the Stamp Art Gallery in San Francisco, these rubber stamped post cards were exhibited from 1 to 28 Februarty 1992. The documentation in this book is the correspondence art Joseph Beuys sent me for the exhibition…”
