The Official Government Nuclear Survivors’ Manual: Everything that is Known about Effective Procedures in Case of Nuclear Attacks.

[192] pp. 8vo, orig. hardcover, orig. dust-jacket (a little foxed & backed). New York: Bill Adler Books, Inc., 1982.

An intentionally blank book protesting nuclear proliferation and the Cold War, designed by Irene Friedman, but its authorship is unclear. The text on the dust-jacket reads: “The purpose of this book is to offer everything that is known about effective procedures in case of a nuclear attack…Because neither country has seriously negotiated nuclear reduction or even a minimal ‘freeze,’ it follows that sooner or later bombs will fall. It is with that inevitability in mind that this manual is offered to the American public.”

Near fine; dust-jacket backed with paper. WorldCat shows just two “real” copies in the United States.
