A stamped light orange envelope (96 x 140 mm.) fashioned as a postcard and sealed with a stamp.

A playful mail art piece created by Lucia Francesca Del Sasso, an artist about whom we know very little. She was affiliated with the Amsterdam artist-run space Stempelplaats in the early 1980s. A work of hers, Stone by Stone (1979-81), published by Stempelplaats, is in the collection of the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil and a library in the Netherlands.

Del Sasso has stamped the requisite lines and box for a postcard on the front of the envelope. The envelope opening on the other side has been closed with a stamp bearing a pair of lips and the words “sealed with a kiss.”

In excellent condition.
