One printed diagram. pp. Single folded A3 sheet. Amsterdam: Art & Project, 1969.
Brouwn’s rare second Art & Project Bulletin, it was produced to accompany Prospect 69, an important exhibition convened by the dealers Konrad Fischer (1939-96) and Hans Strelow (b. 1940) and held at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf.
When the A3 sheet is opened Brouwn’s text instructs the reader: “walk during a few moments very consciously / in a certain direction; / simultaniously an infinite number / of living creatures in the universe / are moving in an infinite number of directions.”
On the final page, below a circle, the slightly altered instructions read: “walk during a few moments very consciously / in a certain direction; / simultaniously a vast number / of microbes within the circle / are moving in a vast number of directions.”
Near fine, but for some minimal wear to the extremities. From an edition of ca. 800 copies.
