Postcard invitation to Richter’s second show at the gallery of his comrade-in-arms Konrad Fischer. Despite their tumultuous relationship, Richter (b. 1932) exhibited at the gallery six times, his debut occurring April-May 1970. The photograph on the recto depicts one of the three paintings shown: Rot-Blau-Gelb (rötlich) [cat. raisonné no. 327], Rot-Blau-Gelb (grünlich) [no. 328], and Rot-Blau-Gelb [no. 329]. The first two entered the collection of Sylvia and Ulrich Ströher and are now at the MKM Museum Küppersmühle für Moderne Kunst in Duisburg. The third is at the Museum Kunstpalast, Düsseldorf.
