A booklet published in conjunction with Buren’s exhibition at Geneva’s Centre d’art contemporain (11 February-6 March 1976). This text was originally published in English in Studio International (Vol. 190, no. 977, September-October 1975) under the title “Notes on work in connection with the places where it is installed, taken between 1967 and 1975, some of which are specially summarized here.” This is the text’s first printed appearance in French. The artist’s polemical essay is accompanied by photographs of the exhibition.
