The handsomely engraved plates depict plans and maps of cities and regions. The battles range from the 16th century up through the Napoleonic period.

Fine set from the Wittelsbach library of the dukes and kings of Bavaria. Laid-in is a letter from the author, dated 7 February 1834, presenting this set to the Duke of Bavaria. WorldCat locates no copy in the U.S.
