Postcard invitation to Nauman’s third exhibition with Konrad Fischer. The gallerist had given Nauman his European debut in July 1968 after they were introduced by Kasper König. One of the artist’s installations for the present show, Corridor with Mirror and White Lights (1971), was purchased by the Tate Britain two years later through Fischer (see Richard, Unconcealed).

In excellent condition. Mailed to artist Gerhard von Graevenitz (1934-83) and his wife Wies Smals (1939-83).

Rare flyer announcing Nauman's 1975-6 exhibition at Fischer's Platanenstrasse 7 gallery. This is one of very few flyers that Konrad Fischer produced to publicize his shows, the vast majority were announced with postcards. Based on Richard's research (see below), The Vissers, Giuseppe Panza di Biumo, and the Städtisches Museum, Mönchengladbach all purchased works from this exhibition.
